La tecnica di annodatura e cucitura mi da la possibilità di creare curve, volumi e sfumature di colore che emergono gradualmente dalla superficie della tela.
The technique of knotting and stitching gives me the opportunity to create curves, volumes and shades of color that emerge gradually from the surface of the canvas.
Questo processo di stratificazione e assemblaggio dei tessuti consente di aggiungere profondità e dimensione all’arazzo, creando un effetto tridimensionale.
This process of layering and assembling fabrics allows you to add depth and dimension to the tapestry, creating a three-dimensional effect.
Ogni pezzo di tessuto, con la sua trama e colore, contribuisce a formare un insieme che riflette l’impegno di un duro e continuo lavoro espressivo.
Each piece of fabric, with its texture and color, contributes to forming a whole that reflects the commitment of a hard and continuous expressive work.

My latest work is dedicated to Sandra Guddo’s book.
In this book entitled Gramigna, there are stories in which the writer tells the Sicilian tradition and its deep culture that has its roots in the millennial history of this beautiful island.
I made this female figure holding a drape that symbolizes tradition.
The drape that starts from behind continues until it joins the hand in front which is ready to spread the tradition in the future.
The glass garden
The glass garden pours water into the colors.
Il vetro stesso rappresenta la fragilità e la delicatezza dell’universo che, come un giardino, è in continua evoluzione, è uno spazio racchiuso dove i colori che nascono dalla miscelazione dell’acqua rappresentano le varie forze ed elementi che lo plasmano.
The glass itself represents the fragility and delicacy of the universe that, like a garden, is constantly evolving, it is an enclosed space where the colors that arise from the mixing of water represent the various forces and elements that shape it.
